The hardback histories *should* cover all editions, and should be correct,
but the paperback histories only cover editions in the FOCS collection
and therefore may be missing some editions. If people could e-mail
us with any corrections or additions it would be much appreciated.

These are only available from secondhand booksellers or occasionally
you might be able to find them at jumble sales or charity/op shops.
* This story was originally published in The Chalet Book for Girls
but is listed here since it covers a whole term in the series.
** Tom Tackles the Chalet School was originally published
in two parts in the Second and Third Chalet Book For
Girls. It was published in book form as no 31 but
is listed here in its chronological place.
*** The Chalet School and Rosalie was originally published
as a paperback by Chambers and was therefore not shown in the numbered
list of titles on the back of the dustwrappers of the Chambers' hardbacks.
Many of the paperbacks are abridged. For individual comparisons,
see different issues of the FOCS magazine. A summary of the abridgements
may be viewed by clicking here.
Some of these are available new in bookshops. Others are only available
secondhand. All titles have at one stage been in paperback, so should
be available somewhere!
* The Chalet School and Rosalie was originally published
in paperback on its own, and then as a double with Mystery at the
Chalet School. In reading order the books are Mystery,
Tom, Rosalie
